PROJECT: 1.6L 4 Cylinder Engine
This is a 4 Cylinder Piston Crank Assembly for a High Performance
Turbocharged 1.6L Hybrid Direct Injection Engine with Energy Recovery
Systems(ERS) comprising of two energy recovery systems, i.e Motor
Generator Unit - Kinetic [MGU-K] and Motor Generator Unit - Heat
[MGU-H], plus an Energy Store (ES) and control electronics.
This unit is designed to keep the lowest possible center of gravity for
the vehicle as to improve stability. This is achieved by using lighter
forged aluminum pistons and using the shortest connecting rod length
possible while increasing the bore diameter significantly which helps
meet the specified engine displacement.

PROJECT: Polycentric (4- Bar) Prosthetic Knee
This is a Polycentric (4- Bar) Prosthetic Knee with mechanical swing control that provides an optimal single walking speed. The collars are 32mm in inner diameter and are adjustable to
several extension sizes.
The knee was also designed to have variable mechanical friction for swing control to maintain a constant gait. This control is provided by the friction at 4 different axis of rotations.The base link length is adjustable to tune a suitable swing motion as well.
PROJECT: Industrial Sausage Maker
This is a section of the entire work cell of an industrial sausage maker. Prior to this assembly the sausages are already prepared compressing ground meat. From the left, sausages enter and the first part is a cutter synced with a photo sensor. Then is the L bracket that holds the entire assembly through screws and bolts. Next is the plastic housing to mount the sensor and cover the conveyor. There is another bracket mounting on to relay box and at the very right end is the conveyor assembly designed for easy disassembling.

PROJECT: Smart Mouth Guard
Travcam is a startup company building a smart mouth guard for non-contact sports training. The idea is to mount a wide-angle camera, bone conducting speaker, battery and a PCB on a mouth guard. The purpose of the mouth guard is to be used at training such that coaches can monitor player movements and create strategies of teamplay. This design has been shown at Dragons Den and to FIFA official and has received positive feedback from both.
PROJECT: Instant Changeable Lens Filters
This project was exploring a new method of mounting lens filters such that multiple lenses could be used and carried at once. This limits the space required, easy mount of filters and possibility of mixed filtered pictures. This is an engineering design that addresses the problem of carrying filters for professional photographers while creating the platform for creative exploraion.
